    Barbara C. Gutin

    Anchor Award recipient

Barbara C. Gutin believes philanthropy should have a strong impact on the community, as shown by her involvement in and passion for various organizations. She is both humble in her giving and dedicated in her support. She has been an advocate for Best Foot Forward and children in foster care since she first learned of the organization when it was started in 2010. Barbara firmly believes that education is the key to success and that every child should have someone in his/her corner to provide care and support. Barbara keeps busy by serving on the BRRH Ball and Go Pink Committees. She helped to establish both the Irving and Barbara C. Gutin Center for Robotic Surgery and the Barbara C. Gutin Center for Pelvic Health at the Boca Raton Regional Hospital. She supports Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse, the Louis and Anne Green Memory and Wellness Center, and various programs on suicide prevention and education. Barbara is a board member and past president of the Lynn University conservatory. She has also served as a member of the Women’s Advisory Committee for the Christine E. Lynn Women’s Health & Wellness Institute. Barbara has been a resident of Boca Raton since 1998 and is the recipient of the Soroptimist Lifetime Achievement Award. She received the Martens Award from the Community Foundation for Palm Beach & Martin Counties with her late husband, and they were honored by the Boca Raton Historical Society and included in the Walk of Recognition.

Best Foot Forward Sole Mates Luncheon

Children in foster care face unimaginable challenges in life with dismal outcomes, but your support can change that!

100% of the proceeds raised from this event will benefit Best Foot Forward's innovative and life-changing programs.

Children in foster care desperately need the one-on-one educational support we provide, but they also need so much more! Essentials like birthday celebrations, field trip money, senior year activities, groceries, and college summer housing are often overlooked, but are extremely important.

To truly help our students put their “best foot forward” and help them become successful, independent, contributing members of our community, we need your support.

That is the essence of the Sole Mates Luncheon!
